Indo-German Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Sharing Experience and Co-creating Knowledge for Sustainable Urban Livelihoods Design

摘要: This chapter describes, analyses and reflects on the design of the Indo-German Dialogue (IGD) on Green Urban Practices process of interaction and learning as well as the supplementary research by placing it within the approaches of social innovation, sustainability transitions and transformations research in relation to sustainable livelihoods design. Transnational, cross-cultural sharing of local experiences gathered in processes of social innovation is an important factor in global learning for sustainability transformation. The design principles of the IGD series highlight the character of a learning journey with an open-ended, evolutionary process that facilitates co-design of the event and allows for emergence of topics relevant to the delegates and their work.
