Generated Runoff Model for Pond Systems (GRUMPS): a confined animal waste management tool.

摘要: A Generated RUnoff Model for Pond System (GRUMPS) has been developed to simulate the water balance of a detention pond below a confinement facility. The model will be used to evaluate alternative detention pond/irrigation design criteria and management options. The water balance is considered for three components: feedlot, detention pond, and irrigated area. Weather generation and runoff modeling are integrated to represent the entire detention pond system. GRUMPS provides generated values of detention pond depth, overflow, and irrigation.
