Preferential feeding of green leafhoppers.

摘要: When caged seedlings of eleven varieties grown in pots until 10, 20, 30 and 40 days old, were infested with a mixture of Nephotettix virenscens and N. nigropictus and the length of insect survival recorded at 24 h intervals for 15 to 25 days, survival was lowest on the youngest seedlings (10 and 20 days) and on the varieties IR20, Latisail, and Jhingasail infested at 10, 20, 30 and 40 days, respectively.
