摘要: Having a standard space for brain MR images, represented through a brain atlas, is important for various analyses. Due to morphological variability across brains and populations, it is important to identify optimal sample size for creating a brain atlas and create population matched atlas. Thus, we used two independent age-and sex-matched groups from the Human Connectome Project (HCP) and the Chinese Human Connectome Project (CHCP). For each group we constructed atlases using different sample sizes to identify the optimal number of samples for constructing an atlas. Further, we analysed differences in segmentation and registration accuracy when using population matched or mismatched template.
