Some Studies on the Network I/O Dependent Performance Issues in a Virtualized Cloud Environment

摘要: Virtualization is a key technology in cloud based service delivery industry to promote effective server consolidation and application consolidation. Proper management of virtualized cloud is important for both cloud provider and cloud consumer in order to achieve better performance in term of effective allocation of virtual machines to handle both CPU intensive and I/O intensive workloads and efficient CPU scheduling for virtual machines[15].
