Cannabis standardization activities

摘要: ASTM International Committee D37 on Cannabis was formed in 2017 to develop standards for cannabis, its products and processes. The activities are focused on meeting the needs of the cannabis stakeholders addressing quality and safety through the development of voluntary consensus standards. Subcommittees focus on the development of test methods, practices and guides for cultivation, quality assurance, laboratory considerations, packaging and security, industrial hemp, and devices. In this presentation, we will highlight the activities of the Laboratory subcommittee and outline the standards that are under development in the other subcommittees. In the second part of this presentation, we will demonstrate the detection of trace amount of THC and CBN with the Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy.
