Aortic intramural hematoma: Prognostic CT findings in the acute onset and follow-up

摘要: PurposeIntramural hematoma (IMH) has been classically defined as aortic dissection without intimal tearing caused by spontaneous rupture of the aortic vasa vasorum with propagation of subintimal hemorrhage. Additionally, IMH can occur secondary to atheromatous ulcers, as a consequence of acute thrombosis of the false lumen in open aortic dissections or in trauma.
