Chalcogenide Microstructured Optical Fibers for IR Photonics

摘要: Chalcogenide glasses show broad mid-infrared transparency and high non-linear refractive index. Single-mode chalcogenide microstructured optical fibers were obtained with losses around 0.3 dB/m in the mid-IR. Fibers with small and large effective mode areas were demonstrated.
