摘要: Ternary intermetallics of the stoichiometric composition R{sub 2}TX{sub 3}, where, R = rare earth element, T = d-electron transition metal and X= p-electron element, crystallizes in hexagonal A1B{sub 2} type crystal structure with space group P6/mmm. We report here the synthesis and basic magnetic properties of the compound Er{sub 2}NiSi{sub 3}. Paramagnetic to antiferromagnetic phase change occurs below 5.4 K for this compound. (author)
