a Phenomenological Analysis of the Longitudinal Proton Structure Function FL

摘要: The study about the corrections to the massless quarks and heavy flavor contributions to the longitudinal structure function FL(x,Q2) of proton is presented. We use the heavy flavor coefficient functions and massive operator matrix elements in unpolarized deeply inelastic scattering in the region Q2 ≫ m2. This representation is carried in Mellin space QCD evolution programs. Numerical illustrations for the longitudinal structure function are compared with available experimental data.
