Validation of a Knowledge Management Tool for Autonomous Diagnosis by Means of ISRU and ECLSS Software Simulators

摘要: The management of knowledge for intelligent diagnostic agents is a critical issue in complex dynamic systems. This paper presents a toolkit developed not only to support the human experts during this activity, but also to substitute the humans, when required, by means of automatic data mining processes intended to improve quality and reliability of the knowledge. The methodology exploited for the automatic knowledge acquisition and representation is presented and some validation scenarios are discussed.
