摘要: Within the EU funded INCO-MPC international research project OPTIMA (http://www. ess. co. at/OPTIMA) a set of dynamic simulation models have been integrated with data bases, GIS, a rule-based expert system, and optimisation tools for the description of water resources management problems at the river basin scale. The fully web-based water resources management information system is being applied to several river basins ranging from 240 to 18,000 km2 in size around the Eastern and Southern Mediterranean: case studies include the Dhiarizos in Cyprus, the Gediz in Turkey, the Zarqa in Jordan, the Lower Litani in Lebanon, the Wadi Zeimar/Alexander river in Palestine and Israel, the Melian in Tunisia and the Martil in Morocco.
