摘要: The nanostructured NaGd (MoO4) 2: Pr3+ phosphor was rapidly synthesized at room temperature by mechanochemically assisted solid state meta-thesis reaction method. The as-synthesized nanophosphor possess scheelite tetragonal crystal structure with space group I41/a. Photoluminescent studies revealed that under the excitation of blue light (448 nm), a strong emission in the red region was observed at 647 nm due to the transition from populated 3P0 level to the 3F3 lower level of Pr3+ ions. The nanostructured NaGd (MoO4) 2: Pr3+ material could serve as excellent red phosphor candidate for solid state lighting applications.
