摘要: The EFDA (2008) Ad-Hoc Group on Socio-Economics has identified a need to move towards creating a dialogue with society about the risks associated with fusion energy. The Group recognises that this overall objective necessitates two key developments: first, achieving an enhanced understanding of stakeholders’ perceptions of fusion; and second, the identification of suitable communication and participation tools.Recent work by Ciemat-Cardiff University has been closely aligned with the perspectives and research direction contained within the Ad-Hoc Group’s recent report (2008). With task TW3-TRE-FESS/D we carried out a comprehensive review of existing empirical evidence on lay perceptions of fusion (Prades López et al, 2007; 2008).
