Global carbon dioxide storage potential and costs

摘要: Ecofys in co-operation with TNO-NITG present in this report an estimate of the worldwide CO2 storage potential. The potential is given by region and for five types of underground storage reservoirs. The report also presents an estimate of costs for capture and storage of carbon dioxide.Cost of carbon dioxide capture and storage Cost for capture and storage of carbon dioxide can conveniently be divided into costs for capture, compression, transport and storage. For each of these categories we will give an indication of the costs and discuss the main issues underlying the cost indication.
