摘要: An experiment was conducted at the betelvine (P. betle) conservatory (bareja) in Pusa, Bihar, India, during 2004/05 and 2005/06 to study the effect of N:P2O5:K2O at 200:100:100 and 150:50:50 kg/ha through mustard oil cake, inorganic and farmyard manure on betelvine (cv. Bangla). The recommended dose of nutrient was found to be significantly superior to the reduced dose of NPK either applied in the form of organic or inorganic in respect of vine elongation, marketable leaves, leaf area, fresh weight of 100 leaves, dry matter yield, nutrient uptake, soil nutrient status and economics. Shelf life of leaves was significantly higher in the control plots with reduced disease severity. Inclusion of inorganic in the treatment resulted in relatively poor keeping quality. A higher benefit:cost ratio was recorded with the recommended dose and reduced dose applied through organic:inorganic source.
