摘要: NOWDAYS, RESEARCHERS HAVE BEEN PAYING MORE AND MORE ATTENTION TO THE CONTROL OF THE MORPHOLOGIES OF NANOSTRUCTURES, BECAUSE THE NOVEL APPLICATIONS, PROPERTIES, PERFORMANCES AND FUNCTIONALITIES OF THE NANOSTRUCTURES DEPEND NOT ONLY ON THE SIZE AND SHAPE OF NANOSTRUCTURES BUT ALSO ON THEIR ORGANIZATION [1-3]. DOPING IS A FUNDAMENTAL APPROACH TO MODIFY THE PROPERTIES OF MATERIAL BY INTENTIONALLY INTRODUCING IMPURITIES INTO A MATERIAL. IN THIS PAPER, COBALT (CO2+)-DOPED CUS NANOPARTICLES ARE SYNTHESISED BY A SIMPLE HYDROTHERMAL ROUTE AND CHARACTERISED FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE SYNTHETIC SAMPLES WERE CHARACTERIZED BY XRD, SEM, BET MEASUREMENT, TGA, PL, AND UV-VIS IN DETAIL. FURTHER INVESTIGATION OF THE PHOTO CATALYTIC DEGRADATION OF DYES SUCH AS METHYLENE BLUE, INDICATE THAT SAMPLES HAVE HIGH PHOTO CATALYTIC ACTIVITY, AND THE DOPED CO2+ HAS ENHANCED THE PHOTO ACTIVITY OF CUS.
