摘要: In this survey 123 Listeria monocytogenes isolates from foods and human were investigated for the capacity of forming biofilm taking into account their serotypes and genotypes. A statistically significant difference was identified among different serotypes and Sequence Types (ST). Serotypes are too large to represent the variability present in the population. MLST was able to identify homogeneous groups (STs) in relation to their ability to form biofilm, ST9, 121 and 155 showed a better ability in biofilm formation than ST2.
