Title: Enrichment/isolation of phosphorylated peptides on hafnium oxide prior to mass spectrometric analysis A hafnium oxide (HfO2) material was synthesized via sol–gel processing and packed in the pipet tip. The material showed selective isolation/enrichment characteristics towards phosphorylated peptides, reducing complexity and facilitating the detection of phosphopeptides in mass spectrometric analysis of tryptic digests.
