摘要: Background: Metastatic uveal melanoma (mUM) is a lethal disease characterised by an immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment (TME). Liver metastases occur in 90% of mUM and are associated with a poor prognosis. Tebentafusp, a bispecific antibody engaging gp100 (melanocytic lineage marker) and anti-CD3, is the first systemic treatment to improve survival in patients with mUM. Mechanisms of resistance to this drug are still unknown. In this post-mortem study, we aim to describe the immune landscape of metastases in patients treated with tebentafusp to explore resistance mechanisms.Methods: The PEACE (Posthumous Evaluation of Advanced Cancer Environment) study is a research autopsy program.
