New Editors’ Introduction: The Essential Nature of Health Care and Human Services

摘要: Administration (JHHSA) is entering its 42nd year, and we are excited to take the helm as the new co-editors-in-chief. Our excitement emerges from both the societal importance of health and human services functions, and from the contributions that the research published in JHHSA can make to these services. The conceptual and empirical research found here is important in addressing the complexity of health and human services, reducing uncertainty, understanding disparities, and improving the functioning of myriad public and private organizations and across geographic boundaries. Over the course of the last four decades JHHSA has played an important role in publishing rigorous research examining health and human services, and our efforts in the coming years aim to ensure that JHHSA continues to play a vital role in amplifying the critical and diverse research in our field.
