摘要: 2710 The mRNA expression of G3BP2, Tropomyosin 1 (TPM1), Tissue factor (TF), asHTF, HMGCR and HMGCR-alternative splicing form (asHMGCR), genes that we had previously identified as differentially expressed in primary oral cavity tumors, were correlated with clinical pathological parameters and survival in oral cavity tumors (OSCC). Study population consisted of 93 patients (pts) with OSCC submitted to surgery with curative intent and analysis was done using real time PCR. Of these genes, only G3BP2 (P<0.01, paired Wicoxan) and TPM1(P<0.01) mRNA expression were lower in primary tumors as compared to adjacent mucosa. G3BP2 (P=0.04, Mann Whitney), HMGCR (P=0.04) and asHMGCR (P=0.005) mRNA were down regulated in pN+ as compared to pN0 OSCC. G3BP2 (P=0.008) and HMGCR (P=0.049) expression were also lower in larger tumors (pT3/T4) as compared to small tumors …
