An experimental study of multiphase flow with radial inflow of gas

摘要: In this paper results are presented from multiphase flow experiments with radial inflow of gas, The experiments are performed with real hydrocarbons at high pressures (100bara) and high temperatures (90{sup o}C). The experiments were performed with varying liquid fractions, varying values of the water cut, varying liquid volume flow rates and varying radial inflow rates of gas. The experiments show that for the conditions considered, the main source of pressure loss is due to frictional effects. (author)
