Genetic trends and correlated responses to selection for milk yield in Jerseys

摘要: This research involved the analysis of the results from a selection experiment with a random bred control population of Jerseys at the University of Florida Dairy Research Unit during the period 1969 to 1987. All animals were purebred registered Jerseys. There were available 935 records from 374 cows. Responses included 44 response variables, including milk yield and composition, reproduction and somatic cells in milk (SC).
