摘要: In this latest revision, I have kept just about all of the content that was included in previous versions of this chapter and have added some updated materials. Most notably, I have added a bit of information about results of a recent randomized trial and some thoughts about the connections between the five caring categories and healing. For ease of reading, I have placed the new material in the section titled “As It Progresses: Caring and Healing.”
