摘要: In the present research, we provide easy, quick, ultrasensitive, inexpensive, and non-toxic plasmonic sensors using silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The AgNPs were biosynthesized utilizing Salvia tiliifolia leaf extract and well characterized by various techniques, and then employed to design a colorimetric method enabling Hg(II) sensing. The designed sensor seems very sensitive as well as specific for Hg(II), having limits of detection at 5.0 nM and 0.27 nM through the naked eye and UV–vis detection, sequentially. In addition, the technique showed good precision (intra- and inter-day RSD values were 2.4 % and 4.9 %, respectively) as well as linearity (R2 = 0.9984 over the 0.1–100 µM interval). The actual utilization of the proposed AgNPs-based sensors has been examined in various real samples, including wastewater effluent, lake water, drinking water, soft drinks, mineral water, and canned light tuna.
