Note on the non-flying terrestrial mammals of the Tuscan Archipelago, northern Tyrrhenian Sea (Italy)

摘要: Data on the presence of the non-flying terrestrial mammals on the 7 main islands of the Tuscan archipelago have been collected through a review of the literature, information provided by Corpo Forestale dello Stato and personal observations. Fifteen species occur on the archipelago: 2 insectivores, 6 rodents, 2 lagomorphs, 4 ungulates and 1 carnivore. The non-flying terrestrial mammalian fauna is represented only by continental species. No endemic insular species have been recorded.
