The habitat and systematics of Acanthodactylus schmidti Hass(1957)(Sauria, Lacertidae).

摘要: This paper describes the habitat of Acanthodactylus schmidti Hass in Saudi Arabia and its present systematic position. The evidence suggests A. schmidti is a valid species. It is adapted to the sand dune habitat, particularly in areas with low scrubby vegetation. Its burrows are dug only among the roots of Hammada elegans .
