SCIENCE IN THE POLICY PROCESS: Rational Decision-Making or Faustian Bargain?

摘要: An essay is presented on the role of science in the policy process. It offers a policy program workshop on federal climate policy which contributes to a more informed policy discussion. The author cited additional policy options that could contribute a positive impact to the effort to reduce the risks that could be experienced on climate change. He suggests that discussions in the best available knowledge of the fundamentals of policy choices are needed to advance the interest of society.
