Strengthening Local Governance through Youth Volunteerism

摘要: Youth volunteerism activities relate generally to locally identified and designed approaches to respond to the needs of communities, and as defined by those communities. Youth volunteerism approach assumes a significant role in enforcing the effective implementation of the Constitution of Nepal. After the promulgation of Constitution of Nepal in 2015, the Civil Society: Mutual Accountability Project (CS: MAP) was designed and implemented to strengthen civic space, such that civil society organizations including community organizations and youth groups, may perform oversight and voice their concerns in democratic governance system at various levels. CS: MAP has been supporting different Civil Society Organizations, youth and other marginalized communities to engage with local, provincial and federal government, on issues of wider public interest.
