Minimum local analgesic dose of intrathecal ropivacaine in labor and the effect of intrathecal sufentanil: 11AP1-7

摘要: Materials and Methods: In this, by local ethics committe approved, doubleblind, randomized, prospective study, 90 parturients receiving combined spinal epidural analgesia at 2-6-cm cervical dilatation were allocated to one of three groups to receive ropivacaine or sufentanil alone or in combination. Constant volumes of 2, 5ml study solutions were injected intrathecally. In a 2 step approach, first sufentanil dosage was calculated by logistic regression. The MLAD of ropivacaine and of the combination with a fixed dosage of sufentanil at ED20 was evaluated using the technique of down-up sequential allocation and calculated using the formula of Dixon and Massey. Analgetic effectiveness was assessed 15 min after injection using 100-mm visual analog scale, with less than 10mm lasting for 45min defined as effective.
