摘要: There is a growing field of interest in the plasma mediated synthesis of nanomaterials in recent years due to the versatility offered to design the nanomaterial’s morphology and surface functionality. In this research, a simple and handy atmospheric pressure-operating plasma torch was used to synthesize Zinc Oxide nanomaterials (ZnO NMs). The process parameters such as precursor concentration, nature of precursors for Zinc (sulfate, nitrate and chloride) and feed gases for plasma generation were taken to study any influence on the morphological changes occurring in ZnO NMs. Sodium hydroxide was used as precipitating agent. It was noted that all the above parameters influenced the resulting morphology to great extent.
