摘要: A shared aperture antenna is presented, which covers two widely separated frequency bands, Sub-6GHz and millimeter-wave (Sub-6GHz/mmWave), such as 3.5 and 28GHz. The overall antenna consists of a patch antenna that radiates at 3.5GHz, whereas the CDRA (Circular Dielectric Resonator Antenna) array embedded in SIW (Substrate Integrated Wave-guide) radiates at the center frequency of 28GHz. To reduce the aperture antenna area, we use the stack layer technique. The overall dimension of the antenna is , where is the low-frequency wavelength. The antenna performance achieves a bandwidth of 9.7%/9.46%, a maximum gain of 5.25dBi/10.5dBi, and an efficiency of 90.9%/88%.
