摘要: Gut microbiota is deeply involved in the regulation of both health and disease within our body. The restoration a healthy gut is, therefore, main clinical target management diseases associated with its disruption. Fecal transplantation (FMT) an old therapy that has recently been rediscovered, having proved clear efficacy against recurrent Clostridium difficile infection. By restoring altered substantial durable manner, FMT considered cutting-edge promising option for treatment recognize alteration as pathogenic role. shown interesting (even if uncertain) results such metabolic syndrome inflammatory bowel diseases. Moreover, definition standard procedural protocol each specific disease, well exhaustive studies about relationship between donor's composition results, will certainly improve therapeutic potential FMT. Both application technologies assessment (such metagenomics) development well-designed, large randomized trials are needed to put perspectives into practice.
