摘要: Background Antigen detection, which has proven useful in diagnosis of disseminated histoplasmosis, not been studied acute pulmonary histoplasmosis (APH). Because treatment is indicated most patients with moderately severe or APH, antigen detection for rapid could be helpful. Methods Histoplasma was evaluated 130 APH. Results Antigenuria detected 64.6%, antigenemia 68.6%, and antibody 64.3%. If both urine serum specimens were tested, 82.8%, 45.8% had only; if measured, results positive 93.3%, only 35.7%. Conclusions Testing antigenemia, antigenuria, antibodies using the complement fixation test offers a sensitive, noninvasive method
