摘要: Four patients with inflammatory bowel disease developed symptomatic hypomagnesemia, symptoms and signs comparable to those induced in experimental animals by magnesium-deficient diets. Dependence solely upon the plasma magnesium may be deceptive as it not reflect a severe total body depletion. Although hypomagnesemia is relatively uncommon complication, are uniquely disposed development of this problem either result underlying or consequence therapy. The readily reversible. Unrecognized depletion interfere complete restoration other ion deficits, including calcium potassium.
