Multi-hop based collection utilizing ZigBee networks for a large-scale active RFID deployment

摘要: RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is an automatic identification technology where information carried by radio waves. The active type of focuses on a long communication range while the passive low cost for number dense deployments. Nevertheless, cannot be applied to large-scale area due its limited communication. This paper proposes multi-hop based collection utilizing ZigBee networks deployment. proposed method uses agent extend coverage reader and collect tags outside range. also includes experiment performance evaluation. To evaluate method, we implemented system, which complies with standard 433MHz RFIDs ISO/IEC 18000-71.
