摘要: Melatonin influences plant innate immunity through the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway. However, most upstream MAPK component in melatonin signaling and dependence of generation a reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst on synthesis remain unclear. In this study, treatment several mekk (alias mapkkk)-knockout Arabidopsis mutants with revealed that MAPKKK3 OXI1 (oxidative signal-inducible1) kinases are responsible for triggering melatonin-induced defense pathways. addition, induction upon infection avirulent pathogen Pseudomonas syringae DC3000 (avrRpt2) was independent H2O2 NO individually, but dependent combination NO. Moreover, melatonin-mediated expression defense-related genes, such as PR1 ICS1, not altered H2O2-deficient rbohD/F-knockout mutant pretreated an scavenger, indicating functions downstream ROS burst. Collectively, data indicate immune response requires multiple molecules activation OXI1, followed by cascades, MAPK3 MAPK6. This article is protected copyright. All rights reserved.
