摘要: For over 40 years, our understanding of fluid-rock interactions in porous rocks has been largely based on the theory Biot [1956] for behavior liquid-filled pores permeable rocks, where assumes that pore geometry only changes elastically. Such are “dead” sense their response to changing conditions is elastic oscillations or catastrophic failure. One obvious manifestation rock not like this pervasive splitting seismic shear waves almost all polarization faster split wave typically within ±20° direction maximum horizontal compressional stress.
