摘要: Abstract Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) undergoes denaturation in methanol-water mixtures. The region of solvent composition which this transition occurs depends on the ionic strength and temperature but is little influenced by average nucleotide DNA. As judged both macromolecular optical criteria, disruption secondary structure almost complete, yet methanol rapidly readily reversible water. structural basis reversibility differs from that controlling partial aqueous solution. An irreversible thermal has also been found to occur methanol-rich solvents. products may be reconverted native DNA
