摘要: OBJECTIVE This study evaluated a nasal surgical questionnaire designed for monitoring outcomes and comparing different techniques. METHODS Eighty-three healthy volunteers answered the same twice with minimum interval of five weeks. Three visual analogue scale items were used to assess obstruction during day, at night exercise. Respondents rated severity by marking on 10 cm line, scores ranging from 0 100 (measured in millimetres). Other symptoms, considered secondary outcomes, graded using four-point Likert scales. RESULTS Mean experienced exercise initial assessment 9.99, 12.95 11.67, respectively. Thirty-eight per cent indicated no (scores 0), 47 mild 1-30), 13 moderate 31-70) 2 severe 71-100). Males had higher than females. The first second did not differ, except allergic individuals which was clinically unimportant. CONCLUSION reliably assesses symptoms may be useful prospective studies surgery.
