摘要: Abstract Theory, corroborated by experiment, shows that the behavior of intense electrostatic sprays involving droplet sizes above one micron and probably under all circumstances, is defined mechanics free charge on spray surface. Circumstantial evidence suggests characteristics are ultimately traceable to a meso-scale quantum mechanical process. A condensed overview this first-principles model presented, with particular attention being paid implications has for engineering development devices. It shown mean diameter Newtonian liquid larger than solely function fluid charging level, independent device related properties. This fact forms basis new class atomizers based direct injection. Charge injection capable providing at essentially unlimited flow rates arbitrary, selectable sizes. The theory practice these devices described.
