摘要: The current report presents an example of the path taken from identification a public health problem at primary service level, to conducting research documenting scope and nature risk factors, disseminating findings, fostering development application relevant policy. presented is case postpartum depression, issue with bio-psycho-social implications. Public nurses identified problem, prompting epidemiological research. findings encouraged Ministry Health (MOH) conduct pilot program for screening early intervention among pregnant women reporting depressive symptoms. Based on results program, MOH expanding all Mother-Child (MCH) clinics. Israel?s largest Maintenance Organization has followed suit including this in its own This Israeli experience may serve as instructive locally evolving into national
