摘要: Summary Acid rain-induced direct injury to forest tree seedlings was investigated in specially designed controlled-environment simulated-rainfall chambers. Seed germinative capacity, seedling survival, growth and morphological responses simulated rains of pH 5.6, 4.6, 3.6 2.6 were examined during the first cycle 11 commercially important north temperate species. Germinative capacity weakly responsive rain pH, while survival more sensitive. No evidence macroscopic foliar observed at > 2.6. 1 reatment with 4.6 sufficient induce statistically significant reductions changes coniferous seedlings. Response varied species, treatment parameter measured. consistent stimulations observed. Initiation Primary needles, axillary meristems shoot apex height most affected by pH. Deciduous species considerably resistant than Treatment ram generally required deciduous
