摘要: The wintering response of conifer seedlings and adult trees, injuries inflicted by cold acid rain on their needles buds, were studied experimentally. results reveal the greater susceptibility Norway spruce to indirect effects (e.g. in terms growth viability seedlings) than those Scots pine, whereas pine suffer significant cellular damage disturbances surface wax layers following treatment also exhibit significantly reduced needle length after at pH 4 stomatal size 3. Scattered CaSO4 crystallites observed surfaces treated southern provenances seemed derive a slight advantage from treatment, deterioration clearly observable northern 3 form poor seedling condition.
