摘要: Abstract We sought to develop a unique educational course for emergency medicine residents that provides the essential knowledge, practical skills, and motivation complete research project during residency. A 5-day mandatory was designed first-year residents. Unique features of curriculum include 1) didactic lectures paired with workshops teaching skills 2) use hypothetical question (“mock project”) is utilized experience at each step results in an oral presentation completed project. The evaluated pre- post-tests general quality final presentations, post-course questionnaire. Following completion course, 16 resident participants showed significant improvement as evidenced by higher median post-test scores absolute increase pass rate 50%. Residents' presentations were given ratings “above average” “superior” all observing faculty members. Finally, 87.5% felt developing mock (“handson” experience) increased their confidence interest conducting future academic research. Thus, introductory methodology utilizes appropriate incorporates may provide effective method conduct
