Diurnal variations of plasma aldosterone in supine man: relationship to plasma renin activity and plasma cortisol.

摘要: In order to investigate the role of renin secretion and ACTH on circadian rhythm plasma aldosterone (PA), activity (PRA), cortisol (PC) PA were determined at short-time intervals in 10 normal supine men. Six subjects studied under a sodium intake 4 restriction. was suppressed by dexamethasone. Under changes seemed be more parallel with PC than those PRA as indicated higher significant correlation between 3 subjects. 1 subject no observed despite visual synchronism concentrations both hormones. dexamethasone medication fluctuations followed while less 2 mug/100 ml. restricted state, closely paralleled significantly correlated seen PC. persisted.
