摘要: Tests were made of γ-emitting compounds as potential non-absorbed reference markers for estimating water ingestion in the western rock lobster Panulirus longipus cygnus (George) and penaeid prawn Penaeus latisulcatus (Kishinouye). The extent any marker absorption into tissues was measured animals totally immersed lobsters with only gills perfused. Distribution within body, transport gut, excretion examined following injection label blood lobster. 125I-sodium iothalamate, 58Co-EDTA, 51Cr-EDTA all satisfactory very low absorption, being best. Most injected sodium iothalamate excreted from body over 24 h, probably via urine, which suggests its further use studies antennal gland function. 46ScCl3, 51CrCl3, 58CoCl2, 110AgCl some value drinking prawns, although gave levels that too high. useless lobster, absorbed much more than retained gut. 125I-rose bengal not practicable because it slowly precipitated sea water. Requirements appear to be critical high permeability major sea-water ions those extensively regulate ions.
