摘要: Background Cancer is one of the most life-threatening diseases worldwide. Since inflammation considered to be known characteristics cancer, activity PGE2 has been paired with different tumorigenic steps such as increased tumor cell proliferation, resistance apoptosis, invasiveness, angiogenesis and immunosuppression. Objective It successfully demonstrated that inhibition mPGES-1 prevented in preclinical studies. However, despite crucial roles mPGEs-1 tumorigenesis, there not much vivo study on cancer therapy. The specificity enzyme its low expression level under normal conditions makes it a promising drug target risk side effects. Methods A comprehensive literature search was performed for writing this review. An updated view biosynthesis, PGES isoenzyme family pharmacology latest information about inhibitors have discussed. Results In study, aimed highlight importance inflammationrelated other inflammatory conditions. Information role pathologies were also provided. We kept noncancer-related part short tried bring together molecules or scaffolds. Conclusion provided review might useful researchers designing novel potent treatment inflammation.
