摘要: This is the first comparative report that demonstrates comparison of anti-hyperglycemic activity camel milk, buffalo milk and synthetic drugs in induced diabetic rabbits. Five groups (n = 8) rabbits containing placebo (G1) hyperglycemic (Alloxan® administered intravenously) including control (G2), treated @40 ml/kg (G3), (G4) glibenclamide (Glicon®) @10 mg/kg (G5) orally for 60 days. Collection blood was done hematology biochemical analysis. Renal hepatic tissue sections were processed by routine paraffin technique diabetes-induced histopathological changes anti-diabetic milk. Diabetes deleteriously (P ≤ 0.05) affects all studied parameters. A significant recovery seen diabetogenic hematological (RBC, MCV, Hb, MCH) serological parameters (AST, ALT, creatinine, BUN, TPs, TOS) with treatment. Camel decreased glucose level more significantly (P < 0.01) than but renal function. Microscopic observations demonstrated recovered altered histology liver kidneys towards normal. The results indicate has a potential therapeutic effect treatment hyperglycemia plays role its management as well reduces risk diabetes-related complications compared to
